Mold Removal & Remediation in Indio, CA
Containment, HEPA filtration, and antimicrobial treatment eliminate mold colonies at the source and prevent cross-contamination throughout the property. Mold remediation removes affected porous materials and corrects the moisture source that allowed growth. The work is done under containment with HEPA filtration so spores are not carried into unaffected rooms, and the area is cleared only once the underlying moisture problem has been resolved.
Local contractors ยท findings documented for your claim
Remediation is the step after the assessment, not before it. A local pro establishes how far the growth extends and what is feeding it, because removing what is visible while the moisture source is still running puts the same colony back in the same wall. Texas and several other states also set a square-footage point above which the work has to be done by a licensed remediator โ the service note below covers where that line falls in this city.

Frequently asked questions
Three inches of rain a year. How is the slab edge always damp?
The rain is not the source. The Coachella Canal and the irrigation laterals that feed the groves hold water in the valley floor all year, and a slab poured on that ground is sitting over a shallow table the desert climate does not describe. Add an evaporative cooler dripping on one wall all summer and the wet line at the base is accounted for without a single storm. Move the irrigation heads off the wall and the cooler drain before you look at the roof.
White crust is forming along the bottom of the stucco. Is that efflorescence from the slab?
It is salt from the irrigation water. Valley water here is mineral-heavy, and when it evaporates at the slab edge it leaves a crust that then wicks up into the first course. The crust is a symptom that water is reaching the wall from the soil, not that the slab is failing. Moving sprinklers off the wall and keeping the cooler drain off the stucco stops the supply; painting over the crust does not.
The cooler runs all summer. Can that much drip really wet a wall?
It is the most reliable moisture source in this climate. A cooler that drips onto the same patch of stucco every afternoon for five months puts more water on that wall than the entire rainfall year. Stucco absorbs it, the sun drives it inward, and the wall base never dries. A drain line that carries the bleed-off away from the wall, not onto it, is usually the whole repair.
