Mold Removal & Remediation in Glenn Dale, MD
Containment, HEPA filtration, and antimicrobial treatment eliminate mold colonies at the source and prevent cross-contamination throughout the property. Mold remediation removes affected porous materials and corrects the moisture source that allowed growth. The work is done under containment with HEPA filtration so spores are not carried into unaffected rooms, and the area is cleared only once the underlying moisture problem has been resolved.
Independent local crews ยท scoped at the property
Remediation is the step after the assessment, not before it. A local pro establishes how far the growth extends and what is feeding it, because removing what is visible while the moisture source is still running puts the same colony back in the same wall. Texas and several other states also set a square-footage point above which the work has to be done by a licensed remediator โ the service note below covers where that line falls in this city.

Frequently asked questions
The yard drained. The lower level did not. Where is July still sitting?
On the clay under the silt. Colluvium on this divide drinks at the surface and then perches, and a 1990 split-level floor sits in that perch. A dry lawn is the silt emptied. A wet lower room is the lens. If the stain is at the buried side rather than a window, the roof is the wrong hunt.
Our lot and the next one face different creeks. Why did both take the same July cell?
Because the perch is the divide itself, not either creek. Four and a half inches on colluvium does not have to reach a channel to wet a basement. One house can also take a slow tributary while the other takes only the lens. Same month, two outlets, one soil. Naming the creek after the fact often guesses the wrong half.
Would a sump at the lower level fix a perched July?
It can lower the lens next to the wall if the discharge goes well away from the house and not back onto the colluvium. Dumping at the downslope corner just recharges the same clay. The sump is a pump, not a new geology. The clay is still there in August.
