Mold Removal & Remediation in Sunbury, OH
Containment, HEPA filtration, and antimicrobial treatment eliminate mold colonies at the source and prevent cross-contamination throughout the property. Mold remediation removes affected porous materials and corrects the moisture source that allowed growth. The work is done under containment with HEPA filtration so spores are not carried into unaffected rooms, and the area is cleared only once the underlying moisture problem has been resolved.
Independent local pros ยท containment before removal
Remediation is the step after the assessment, not before it. A local pro establishes how far the growth extends and what is feeding it, because removing what is visible while the moisture source is still running puts the same colony back in the same wall. Texas and several other states also set a square-footage point above which the work has to be done by a licensed remediator โ the service note below covers where that line falls in this city.

Frequently asked questions
The house is new. Why did a May storm wet the basement?
New on old drainage. These lots were fields on Crosby silt, and a 2005 basement was cut into a perched table the tile used to keep just below the plow. May rain still fills that silt. A new wall is not a new geology. If the wet is at the footing rather than a window, the field is still under the plat.
There is no large lake next to town. Why would spring water have nowhere to go?
Headwaters are not a reservoir. Big Walnut is still small here, and May on Crosby silt does not need a dammed pool to sit. The unused capacity is the tile and the ditch, and both are full after a 4.65 inch month. A held river through a larger town is a different job. This one is a wet field with streets on it.
The neighbor filled last year and we started taking water. Same May cell as before?
Same rain, new grade. Pads here went in as the town grew, so a later fill can sit a few inches higher and shed onto an earlier slab. May then uses the lower footing as a basin. Regrading the shared line matters more than which pad was poured first. The silt was already slow; the fill made it directional.
