Mold Removal & Remediation in Rockwood, VA
Containment, HEPA filtration, and antimicrobial treatment eliminate mold colonies at the source and prevent cross-contamination throughout the property. Mold remediation removes affected porous materials and corrects the moisture source that allowed growth. The work is done under containment with HEPA filtration so spores are not carried into unaffected rooms, and the area is cleared only once the underlying moisture problem has been resolved.

Remediation is the step after the assessment, not before it. A local pro establishes how far the growth extends and what is feeding it, because removing what is visible while the moisture source is still running puts the same colony back in the same wall. Texas and several other states also set a square-footage point above which the work has to be done by a licensed remediator — the service note below covers where that line falls in this city.

Frequently asked questions
We are not on a reservoir. Why does September still wet a short basement?
Falling Creek is the local water. A remnant that fills this channel holds the lowest streets up, and uphill lots take the same month as perched clay against a buried wall. A lakeside diagnosis from west of here is the wrong map. The creek and the clay cut are the two paths on this ground.
The house is on a slab, not a basement. Is September still a problem?
At the plate. These 1987 slabs often have no stem, so a remnant pond splashes the bottom plate and soaks the first course. The floor can look fine. The wall base is where the month shows. Grade away from the slab matches the way the water actually arrives.
We capped the well and September still put water in it. How?
The drain. If it ties into a surcharged storm pipe, September fills the well from below, and the cover hides a full bucket. Falling Creek holding the outlet high is often why the pipe cannot empty. A path to daylight, or a well that cannot backflow, is the repair.
